To enable us to triage patients and avoid putting other patients and our staff at risk we have decided to suspend our open access surgery and request all emergency patients to phone the surgery for an emergency (same day) appointment first.

Advance planning - a good death!

It is important to discuss the possibility (or is it certainty?) of falling seriously ill, and of facing a likely death.

Everyone needs as we get older to think about what care we would like in this situation, in particular:

1 what we would like

2 What we would not like

3 who can speak for us if we are unable to speak for ourselves.
